KWF-Thementage 2026, taking place on 23–24 September in Ulm/Staig, Germany, will bring forestry professionals together with a strong focus on young forest management. This year’s central theme, “Young Forests in a Changing Climate”, is closely connected to the work we do every day.
The early stages of forest development play an important role in shaping the future stand. Timely and professional young forest management helps control competition, support the desired species composition and provide selected trees with better conditions for development. These measures help establish the foundations for stable and resilient future forests.
This is also an area in which Best Planter has extensive operational experience. Our teams carry out large-scale forest management projects across several European countries. Our work goes beyond providing people in the forest: project planning, logistics, team coordination and continuous quality control are all part of how we manage and deliver forestry projects.
At KWF-Thementage, around 15 excursion stations will present practical approaches to the central theme of young forests in a changing climate. The programme also includes expert presentations, panel discussions and solutions presented by companies from across the forestry sector.
