Business Development Manager
Germany | Remote + travel
Bestplanter is an international forestry company focused on reforestation, planting and young stand tending. We work with professional teams, structured processes and high quality standards.
To support our growth in Germany, we are looking for a well-connected professional with forestry experience and a strong understanding of clients, projects and market opportunities.
Your responsibilities
- Build and develop relationships with forest owners, forestry companies, associations and other partners
- Identify and secure new projects in reforestation, planting and forest care
- Manage existing clients and develop long-term partnerships
- Coordinate between clients, partners and our operational teams
- Support proposal preparation, project coordination and follow-up
- Monitor the market, including pricing, competitors and regional specifics
- Represent the company at client meetings, industry events and trade fairs
Your profile
- Background in forestry (e.g. forester, forest engineer or similar)
- Strong knowledge of the German forestry market; existing network is a plus
- Experience working with forest owners or forestry-related clients
- Strong communication skills and a business-oriented mindset
- Structured, independent and results-driven way of working
- Willingness to travel within Germany
- Fluent German, English is an advantage
